You are the light of the world (Matthew 5:14)

In this world people will analyse every aspect of our life. Also they will analyse the conduct and testimony of the church we are planted.

Bible says “You are the light of the world”. This clearly suggests that there is no other light. The world has no other light. If we do not give light, there is no other source to light for the world to look on.

In the tabernacle we find seven branched candlestick. Unless there was oil in the candlestick and ignited it gives no light. In the same way we as church must give light being filled with the Holy Spirit. Apart from the candlestick in the Holy place, there is no other source.

The purpose of our life in this earth is to be a light and to illuminate the life of others in this world through Jesus Christ. The light of Christ shines in this sinful world. So we receive grace and truth imparted for our lives.

Jesus Christ illuminates every person who hears his gospel. Apart from this, there is no other light by which we may be saved. After receiving salvation through grace we are the light of the world.
