Be ye holy, for I am holy. (1 Peter 1:16).
God is holy and he wants His people to be holy. Holiness carries the
thought of being separated from the ungodly ways of the world and set apart for
love, service, and worship towards God. (Leviticus 11:44.). Holiness is the
goal and purpose of our faith in Christ. (Ephesians 1:4). It means being like
God, dedicated to God, and living to please God. It is accomplished by the
spirit of God, who cleanses our souls and spirits from sin, renews us in the
image of Christ, and enables us by the Divine Grace to obey God according to
His Word. (Galatians 5:6).
Let us glorify God in every aspect of our lives. Especially in food
habits, outward appearance, way of dressing, rejection of our customs. Above
all we must be holy in all manner of conversation. All aspects of life must be
regulated by the Will of God and the Word of God.
Keep the Laws of God always and be Holy. God bless you.
