And my God fill all your desire, by his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:19

Apostle Paul during his second missionary journey, he preached in Philippi.  He genuinely appreciates the gifts from Philippi. The generosity of the Philippian church is unique and unmatched. He says the gifts are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing God.

Apostle Paul encourages the Philippian church to continue their good work of giving. They gave to meet to needs in support of the gospel work. Gospel means good news of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We should not think that we have nothing to give. There is always     something God has given you that could be of benefit to the gospel. It could be your time, energy, service, money, property etc.

All that we give is an acceptable sacrifice. They are pleasing to God. When we see people suffering or perishing we do feel to help them. Jesus Christ has made his children a channel of blessing to the rest of the world. Therefore be a blessing to the rest of the world, be a blessing to others and see God supply all your need till you become a fountain of blessing.

From his riches we get the supply. From his glory we are filled with the spiritual blessing. Whatever we give for the glory of God will be credited into our account.

Praise be to God for his glorious days!
