One sinner destroyeth much God (Ecclesiastes 9:18).
Sin is a reproach to any people. Christ died for our sins and also He is
a propitiation for our sins.
Whenever we commit sin, it leads to the loss of God`s presence,
fellowship and blessings. It is a grievous and bitter experience to commit willful
sin after knowing the mercy of God and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
In Joshua chapter 7 we find the sin of Achan. It`s consequences within
Israel and the severe penalty upon Achan and his family reveal several
principles of judgement when God`s people commit sin. When there is serious sin
or toleration of serious sin among God`s people the blessings of God is
diminished, or hindered or lost altogether. When we as children of God refuse
to remove sin from our midst we may not receive the Goodness and blessings that
God has for us.
When we confess the sin and remove them from our lives again we will
receive the presence, grace and mercy. Let the blood of Jesus Christ cleanse us
from all our sins that hinders to receive the blessings for us.
Wash by the blood of Jesus
Be filled by His Holy spirit
Proclaim with the power of Holy Spirit
