Cross became a symbol for the sacrifice and for the death of self to the world. Crucifixion developed into a form capital punishment.

The Crucifixion of Jesus occurred by divine necessity. The cross becomes his throne; and for us cross is the basis for salvation. Through cross we have ‘place’ and also a new access to the father. The demonize powers are disarmed and Satan is defeated.

By meditating cross and Crucifixion we see, there is a call to complete surrender to God. As we find in (Galatians 5:24 ) self- centered desires are nailed to the cross, worldly interests (Gal 6:14) are dead in cross. In (2 Corinthians 5:14 - 17) –we live by putting to death the old self and putting on the new.

The power of death is broken and salvation is poured out on all people.

Cross proved the greatest defeat of Satan.
