Be thankful unto God and bless His name.

"To bless" carries the meaning of "to praise". Psalm 103 thus expresses Thanksgiving and praise to the Lord for the benefits and blessings that He bestows on the believing covenant people. We must never forget God`s goodness to us or fail to be thankful for His blessings showered upon us through the Holy Spirit.

‎          In many of the Psalms, the psalmist calls Israel or the chosen people to worship, praise, obey and seek the Lord. God wants us to be holy people, who observe his righteous laws. Also the psalmist intends to inspire in the people, gratitude for the Lord`s care in their lives, joy in their possession, faithfulness to Him and His word.

‎          We must always look back and remember God`s work in our lives. How we are redeemed from the power of darkness. He has transformed us to be partakers in the kingdom of God. Giving thanks is a powerful response of the heart expressing joy, gratitude and the desire for communion with our Lord.

‎          Give thanks with a grateful heart,

‎Give thanks for all He has done to us.
