Set the Lord always before you.
In psalm 16:8, David says, I have set the Lord always before me.
Apart from God there is no meaning in life and no personal happiness.
Nothing in this life is good if the Lord`s presence and blessings are absent.
Paul expresses the same truth when he said, for to me to live is Christ.
(Philippians 1:21)
All God`s children should seek and cherish above all else, the intimate
fellowship with God. Communion with God is the sure source of blessings and
happiness. The Lord`s continual presence at our right hand brings His guidance,
protection, resurrection, and eternal blessings.
To set the Lord always before is to put our trust in Him. David defeated
Philistines, from Gibeon to Gazer, because God went forth before him. We must
also do as God commandeth us to do like David. To be victorious set Lord before
you, do as God says, always be in the presence of God.
You will never be moved
But
All mountains will be moved by you all.
